Born in 1909 (?), he joined the Auxiliary Air Force and No.615 (County of Surrey) Squadron. He died on 1st October 1939, when his plane crashed near Dorking during a night training flight.
His wife Felicity Hyde Watts played a major role in the development of the Women’s Royal Air Force.
