4 March 1940

Flights continue at Saint-Inglevert with a new record of twelve sorties between 07h30 and 17h15. Pilot Officer Ralph Roberts must, however, land quickly at 08h30, following an engine failure on Gloster Gladiator N2303.

At the same time, the aerial activity resumes in Vitry-sur-Artois when a training for night flying takes place under the direction of Flying Officer Peter N. Murton-Neale. Pilot Officer Levin Fredman, Keith T. Lofts and Richard D. Pexton are participating. Unfortunately, the ORB does not provide more details.
